Art Kermesse 2015 Sorrento

For the season Spring-Summer 2015 Sorrento turns it into a real gallery of contemporary art.

It will depart on March 28th with the Exhibition Twentyth Century Italian Painting-Tradition and Avant-garde, which will open the doors to visitors, experts on the field and fan of art till June 7th 2015.
The exhibition will offer an interesting artistic run through the Twentyth century greatest masters' works. Last century will be introduced in fact through the artistic productions of the greatest movements: from the Historical Avant-gardes to the Pop Art, going through the School of Piazza del Popolo, the Surrealism, the Abstract Art up to the Expressionism and the Spatialism.
In the rooms of the Villa Fiorentino suggestive location it will be on display to the public about 72 works by the most important masters of the Twentyth Century Italian Art: De Chirico, Balla, Sassu, Campigli, Maccari, Ligabue, Brindisi, Casorati, Rosai, De Pero, Morandi, Sironi, Tozzi De Pisis, Scanavino, Birolli, Vedova and Schifano.

On March 28th will mark the beginning of a further interesting appointment: the positioning of Master Arnaldo Tomato's monumental works in the main areas in the town of Sorrento. Opencast gallery, Sorrento will be a scenery for the wonders of Arnaldo Pomodoro, anticipating the exhibition of
the artist.

From June 19th till October 4th 2015 in fact it will be the time of Master Tomato's exhibition, which will follow the Twentyth Century ones still in Villa Fiorentino.
