Pablo Picasso Exhibition in Sorrento

Great return of the great art in Sorrento: after the significant names of Dalì and Sironi, the Mermaidland is ready to held a new interesting art exhibition.
From May 30th till October 12th 2014, in the enchanting location of Villa Fiorentino, the exposure "Picasso. Eclecticism of a Genius" comes.

240 incisions, 25 ceramics, oils and other works allow the visitors to do a trip in the technical world of one of the most important artists in the world.
The works will be exhibited in chronological order backwards, to allow an interesting run between the modern and in the meantime classical style of Pablo Picasso.

The event is organized by the Sorrento Foundation and by a scientific committee consisting of Mariastella Margozzi, manager of the Museum Boncompagni Ludovisi in Rome and of Claudia Casali, manager of the International Museum of the Ceramics in Faenza, and it stands out because of the presence of 8 complete graphic collections, made between 1904 and 1968, in short from the youthful till the adult age.

The event is also perfectly inserted in the social background: the hashtag #PicassoSorrento collecting the various visitors snaps on the social networks is been made and it is available a Facebook page with the name of the event "Picasso. Eclecticism of a Genius."
