Sounds and rhythms of Mediterranuem are the protagonist in Sorrento for the last weekend of August 2013.
The 30 and 31 august 2013 Sorrento will give the hospitality to the first edition of "Le Antiche Voci", Festival of Folklore and folk music organized from "Aequana" and promoted by the Town Hall of Sorrento.
The event is showed in a innovative location of Veniero Square, where the target is, to let know to all the tourists and citizen of the sorrento peninsula, the musical instrument and the musical patrimony of of tradition voice. The performance is in dance, concerts and show, where 8 team and about 70 artists and there will be stages and thematic meetings.
The event start on the 30 august 2013 at 5:00 pm, with a conference of the anthropologist Dr Fabio Birotti and the ethnomusicologist Dr Valerio Ricciardelli.
On the 30 august 2013 at 6.30 pm, after a stage in Veniero Square of the Folk Team "Montemarano", will be at 8:00 pm  the departure of a procession of "Armed" artistes of "Tammorre and other percussions, the will go the official start at Festival parading in the historical centre of Sorrento.

At 9.00 pm, the concert, with presence of "A Paranza r'o Lione", "A Paranza r'o Tramontano", "A Paranza di Materdomini and "A Paranza di Montemarano"

The following day, the 31 august 2013 at 5 pm will start a stage of "Ballarella e Salterelli", typical dance of the low Lazio region, held by the dancer Federica Raso.
At 6.30 pm, the people will hear , the suggestive picture of Antiche Mura, performance of "Tammurriate" and chants expanse.
At 9.00 pm, the second concert , in Veniero Square with "A Paranza re Malandrini", "A Paranza r'o Sciumm Sarno", "Girovaghi" and "A Paranza di Pomigliano".
