Our stay at the Palazzo Guardati was wonderful. The location is right where a tourist would like to be. The rooms were excellent. The staff was very professional. We would like to thank Vittorio for his kindness.

A modern, light and airy hotel that is kept spotless. Everything has been fitted to a high standard. It has a lift, modern electrics and impressive fire alarm system. Our room was excellent and the self service breakfast was plentiful and varied.
On the roof is a superb open space which is pleasant for an evening drink and to look at Vesuvius across Naples bay!
Nothing was too much trouble for Pasquale and his staff, whether it be tourist information, route finding or room service.
The location is excellent especially for the independent traveller. It is a short walk (or taxi) from the Circumvesuviana railway station. Buses from the airport also terminate at the station.
It is a couple of minutes walk to the top of the steps (or road) down to the port and Capri ferry. In another direction you are straight into the complex of narrow streets that make up the old part of Sorrento with shops and restaurants.
An excellent place to stay.

Great hotel, cannot fault anything. Perfectly located - restaurants, shops, bus/train station all within easy walking distance. Staff always polite and helpful. Accommodation immaculate and wonderfully clean. Would recommend this hotel in an instant.
Thank you for making our stay a memorable and happy one.
We look forward to returning.

We can not possible rate Palazzo Guardati highly enough.
We stayed at the hotel late Sep/early Oct for our wedding and holiday. Every morning we had a feast with the amazing breakfast choices, accompanied by a friendly chat and a smile from the lovely man in the breakfast room.
The man on the desk in the evening was so helpful, bringing hot water for my lemsip at midnight when I had the misfortune to develop a cold! And the lady on the desk during the day, I cannot thank enough. When I had a panic that my wedding reception meal wasn't as I had asked, she rang the wedding planner for me and sorted it all out. Above and beyond the call of duty!

My friend and I stayed at Palazzo Guardati for 4 nights at the beginning of September. Everything about the hotel (cleanliness, location, friendliness & helpfulness of staff, breakfast, internet access, english-speaking) was fantastic. (And I'm pretty fussy!!) I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone staying in Sorrento.
We particularly appreciated the helpful advice given to us by Pasquale (including which ice cream shop to visit in Capri!, as well as more practical advice). He went above and beyond what we expected, and even got in contact with me and ensured I received some post that arrived after I left Sorrento.
Also the gentleman in the breakfast room (Vittorio?) was a real character and ensured we started the day with a smile!
